After launching my Signature Gourmet Apple Pie for Thanksgiving 2020, I began planning additional pies for the Christmas season. A standout in my mind is my great-grandmother's beloved lemon chiffon pie, a decades-long family favorite that vanishes quickly at gatherings.
Only two family members, my cousins Steve and Tshaka, held the recipe. They generously shared it with me, and Steve invited me to his home to learn the techniques firsthand. I am proud to honor my great-grandmother's legacy by sharing her cherished lemon chiffon pie.

While delivering my Signature Gourmet Apple Pie to my cousin Cabral and his wife, Tonia, for Thanksgiving 2020, we discussed adding new pies to my menu. Cabral mentioned his maternal grandmother’s sweet potato pie recipe, which he had shared with me through his mother, Brenda. After testing the pie with family and friends, I added my unique touches while honoring Mama Jo.
A recent customer praised the pie for its resemblance to his late grandmother's, expressing gratitude for the nostalgic experience. Such feedback inspires me to continue sharing love & joy through my baking.
